Artist Bio
Emma Jane Day (she/her) is a versatile soprano and actor based in Denver, Colorado, working at the intersection of theatre, choral music, contemporary pop/rock, and new works. From Sondheim to Schubert to the Stones, Emma loves to bring her voice and passion for storytelling to everything she books.
Emma is equally at home onstage and behind the table. She has served as Managing Director, Music Director, and Artistic Instructor for BackStory Theatre, and as a Stage Manager and production designer befrore that. Earlier training includes CSU’s Ralph Opera Program, extensive choral work with Colorado Children’s Chorale and CCHS Girls’ 21, and private voice study with Dr. Nicole Asel. She brings strong musicianship, quick study skills, and a collaborative, improv-informed approach to every rehearsal room.
